sad news

Our dear Donna was in a serious car accident on Saturday, July 7. She was injured; her husband did not survive the crash.

Most of you who’ve come to the store have met with Donna many times. She’s helped you fix problems, she’s helped you find just the right yarn for that special project. Now it’s our time to help her.

We’ve started prayer shawls for Donna, her husband’s mother and each of Donna’s daughters. Please join us in this ministry of love and knit a few stitches or a few rows. We’ll be dedicating the next few Thursday Knit Nights to these projects.

Thanks for your help and support,

Meg and the staff at Yarn Expressions

    Hi

I just happened upon your site with a google search. I don’t know Donna but my thoughts are with her and your shop. I work at Hilltop Yarn shop in Seattle and we are a tight community so I can imagine how difficult this time must be for you. I send her well wishes through my own knitting.

This keeps running through my mind. Donna and her family are in my thoughts. I hope to be there on Thursday. Let me know if there is anything else needed.

I have not met Donna and do not live anywhere nearby but I am so sad to hear this news. I will be praying for Donna, her family, and the knitting group as you rally around your dear friend. My family is thinking of moving to the Hunstville area if indeed that happens you can be sure I will be looking forward to meeting you and joining your knitting group if I can.

I am so sad to hear the news about Donna. This past year has already been so hard for her with her other losses. She and her family are in my prayers and I wish there was something I could do to ease her pain. I am so sorry for all the suffering she has and is going through.

I just read about Donna and her husband. Please let her know she is in my prayers. Donna is such a wonderful person and has helped me so much. I’m so glad that she has so much support during this time. I would love to join in your love ministry to her and her family. I can’t come on Thurs but I’m hoping to get down there this Sat. I hope it will be ok if I stay awhile and knit.

I subscribe to the b’ham news and did not know of Edward Larosche’s accident until today. I am so very sorry. Is there a fund being collected like at a bank or church institution for Donna and the girls? I think she has touched so many people and this would be good information to know. thanks Jann

We hope our prayers will add to the circle of healing gathering around Donna and her family and help see them through this very sad time.

I contacted the website just today and learned about Donna. My heart goes out to her and her family in their sorrow. I survived an MVA years ago only by the grace of God, so I can sympathize. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.
