New Events to Keep Your Hands Busy

We’ve added a few new classes to the line-up for Spring at Yarn Expressions.  They’re all listed on the calendar (link in the panel to the right) and are on our class list.

Lynne Vogel will be back on Sunday, April 19th, to teach beginning spinning on a wheel.  If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to make yarn on a spinning wheel, this is your chance to learn from a master.  The class will be very small — just 5 students — so register early if you’re interested.

Speaking of spinning, Spin Night starts again on April 6th.  We’ve moved to once a month, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  Bring your wheel or spindle and enjoy the fun.

In June, our Mitered Square Memory Keeper Blanket class will be making a repeat performance.  So many people have seen it at the shop and expressed interest that we had to add this to the schedule.  I’ll be teaching this on two Monday nights in June from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Gather up your sock yarn leftovers and join us for some fun.

Baby Alert!  So many people have asked about our new grandson that we decided to set up a Meet the Baby event when he’s in town.  He and his parents (and Crazy Aunt Liz) will be hanging out at the store on Saturday, April 4th, beginning at 1:00.  This also happens to be his dad’s birthday, so we might just have cake and party hats too.
