I didn’t think I was going to have time for this until this evening, but I managed to snag a few extra minutes at the computer and put these up on the website. Get ‘em while they last!

I confess, I’ve been playing hooky this past week. With these cute visitors
I did have a project I was working on though, in the spare moments between snuggling with the baby and making a mess in the kitchen with my son.
These are mill ends of Prism’s luscious sock yarn called Merino Mia. We received six pounds just before I left, so I grabbed them and wound them into smaller skeinlets, and made up 12 eight ounce bags. They’re now up on the website, available for purchase. Our shipment contained both solid and multi-colored yarn, so each bag is a mixture of the two. We have much more on order, but this is it for now.

We had a phone call from Classic Elite Yarns recently, telling us that shipment of the fall’s most anticipated book of designs, Made in Brooklyn by Jared Flood, would be delayed because of a printing problem. Luckily for us, the problem was caught quickly and the reprints are ready to roll.

Judging from the excitement over this book on Ravelry, I’m guessing our supply won’t last long. Our shipment should arrive some time next week. If you want to pre-order a copy now, give us a call.

Back by popular demand, our Sunday Knit and Spin In starts this month — tomorrow! We’ll be here from 1:00 until 4:00 in the afternoon. Bring your wheel, bring your spindle or whatever project you’re working on, and join us for an afternoon of fiber fondling and lively conversation.
