Knit Your Own Project - This is your chance to choose what you really want to knit! Perhaps there is a project you are not really sure if you have the skills to successfully knit: here is your opportunity to do it, with lots of support. You’ll get the assistance you need and expand your skills. 3 session class: Saturdays, June 8th and 29th; final class date TBD based on projects; from 9 to 11am Fee: $65.00 plus materials. Knitting Essentials 101 - This class is for absolute beginners or for people who may have knitted a little a long long time ago and have no idea where to begin. 3 session class, Wednesdays; June 12th, 19th and 26th from 530 to 730pm. Fee: $65.00 plus materials. Instructor: Kirsten Muldoon

Crochet Essentials 101: The Basics - The techniques taught in this class will allow you to make a crocheted sampler, in the form of a summery scarf. 3 2 hour sessions: Saturday, June 22nd, 29th & July 6th, 430 to 630pm. Fee: $65.00 plus materials. Instructor: Sharon Cowan

Sanibel Circular Shawl - This class will review fundamental skills needed to construct a circular shawl. The class project, the Sanibel Circular Shawl, uses a circular baby afghan pattern that combines with the yarn to make a wonderful lacy summer shawl. 3 2 hour sessions: Mondays, June 17th, 24th and July 8th (one week skipped to allow students to get more of their shawl completed); 530 to 730pm. Summer Shimmer Shawl - During this one session class, students will learn to knit basic lace stitches while beginning a stunning shawl or scarf. 1 2 hour session: Sunday, June 23rd, 330 to 530pm. Fee: $25.00 plus materials. Instructor: Diane Lanier

Star-Crossed Cowl - Make a single or double cowl using the Indian Cross Stitch, an attractive textured pattern that will work well with solids as well as variegated yarns. Previous Classes

The following classes have already concluded but you can request a new session by emailing yarnexpressions@juno.com. We just need 3-4 participants for a class to "make" and be re-offered.

If there's a specific class you'd like to see us offer, please email us and let me know. We are always open to your suggestions.

And don't forget that everyone is always welcome to Stitch Along on Tuesday evenings and Knit Night on Thursday evenings and Spin and Stitch on alternate Sundays. Someone is always around to help you untangle small problems if you don't quite need a lesson but are stuck on a project.
